Management Biographies

Charles W. Gibson is a 1969 graduate of Clemson University. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy until 1972 when he joined Deland, Gibson. He became President in 1982 when George W. Gibson became Chairman of the Board. In addition to his duties as President and Producer, Charlie is the firm's Treasurer and also handles the agency's investments.

Karen A. Cora joined the agency in 1988 and became Executive Vice President in 1995. Karen began her insurance career in St. Louis in 1969. She worked at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in St. Louis and was later promoted and transferred to their Boston office. She held various positions in underwriting and marketing and worked with various Boston area insurance agencies including Deland, Gibson. When Fireman's Fund closed their Massachusetts offices, Karen joined the Deland, Gibson team.

Debra E. Boudreau joined the agency in 1978 and became manager of the Personal Lines Department in 1986 and later was named Senior Vice President. Debra began her insurance career in 1973 in Boston.

Michael J. Sabbagh, Jr joined Deland, Gibson in 2000 as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lines Manager. He has 27 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has worked as an Insurance Advisor and for large insurance agencies. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.
